Kotor- Recognised as one of the “Most Beautiful Bays In The World” Kotor port is reached through a beautiful natural fjord which opens onto a bay, the sail in is taken at a slower rate of knots which allows you to take in the fantastic landscapes.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site – From the bay it only takes a couple of minutes to walk to medieval Kotor. The old city was built between 12th and 14th centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historic monuments. The city walls extend over 4 kilometres and are overshadowed by the massive cliffs of St John’s Hill
People Watching – Within the fortified town and medieval streets there are many lovely boutique shops, modern cafés and restaurants where you can browse, people watch and taste the local cuisine.
Getting Around – Take advantage of the open top hop-on/hop-off buses which are great value and visit various points of interest.
There is so much more to tell, feel free to call me for more details on this wonderful destination.
