San Francisco – Often called “Everybody’s Favourite City,” a title earned by its scenic beauty, cultural attractions and world class cuisine. It’s a very walk-able city dotted with landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz and the largest Chinatown in the United States.
Alcatraz is a must visit – You can reach the island by ferry ride from Pier 33, near Fisherman’s Wharf. The Rock offers an interesting combination of eerie shadows of the past with spectacular flowers, birds, and great views of the city. It’s a photographers dream and a really spectacular place.
Chinatown – San Francisco has the largest Chinatown outside of Asia as well as the oldest Chinatown in North America. It is one of the top tourist attractions and well worth a visit.
The Golden Gate Bridge – possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world was once called “the bridge that couldn’t be built,” today it is one of the seven wonders of the modern world. While in San Francisco why not take a short stroll along this beautiful landmark.
