When staying in an Aqua Class stateroom you are allocated dining in The Blu Restaurant. To sum this restaurant up I would say it was an intimate speciality restaurant with a healthy slant where in my opinion taste was never compromised.
Clients who have booked other cabin grades cannot dine in Blu so there is a feeling of exclusivity. The décor of is modern and elegant inspired by the Mediterranean Sea with white and blue colours reminding me of Greece. There are many tables to accommodate two but if you decided to eat with another couple one night this would not be a problem.
The staff were so friendly, explaining the menu options and recommending wines to suit your choices. I also liked the fact that the dining was flexible round you meaning that you can choose when to eat between 6pm and 930pm.
The menu was varied and innovative with a great selection. The menu also changed each evening but if you fancied a change of venue you can be booked into the main restaurant or pre book one of the other speciality restaurants.
I am not a great lover of buffet restaurants so having breakfast freshly prepared and served was a great attraction for me. The muesli is mixed for you at the table and the choice of fresh fruits was extensive. The highlight was the French Toast with Muddled Fresh Berries.
Not so sure of the low calorie promise on this dish but usually I put on a pound or two after a cruise and for once I remained the same! I would thoroughly recommend Blu and Aqua Class for your next celebrity cruise.
