A Shakespearean Adventure

Shakespeare StatueWith the keenly anticipated release of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth in cinemas this month everyone is talking about this literary master once again 400 years on from his death.

If you’re one of those appreciative folks then how about delving into the world of Shakespeare a little bit further with a cruise to celebrate this amazing legacy.

Celebrity Cruises are giving Shakespeare fans the opportunity to do just this with a very special Signature voyage with exclusive ports of call, onboard performances and expert speakers.

Signature voyages are specially designed to offer a unique Modern Luxury vacation where you can be part of the excitement and  be indulged on board, for an experience that you will never forget.

Each Signature Event Sailing promises that you'll be entertained, educated, and engaged with unique shows and performances, speakers, and activities inspired by the itinerary's event. There will also be a range of unique shore excursions highlighting your event by either putting you right in the heart of the action or providing an exclusive VIP vantage point for a truly luxurious experience.

This 9-night Scandinavian cruise departs from Southampton on 23 April with an overnight stay in The Norwegian Capital Oslo before moving on to exclusive ports of call within Sweden and Denmark.

On board, Literary history comes to life with a Shakespearean enrichment programme as well as a very special Shakespeare production.  You will also travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kronborg Castle, the inspirational setting for the legendary play "Hamlet". Walk in the footsteps of Danish soldiers as you explore the underground casemates,  built to accommodate up to 1,000 men with provisions to withstand a six-week siege.
