Carnival Pride will return to Tampa, where it hasn't sailed from since 2014, to operate a series of five - to 14-day voyages in January and February 2017
Carnival Pride is almost a completely different ship, after its luscious renovations last year dubbed as “Fun 2.0”. The renovations included restaurants such as Guy’s Burger Joint, developed in tandem with Food Network Star Guy Fieri, Bonsai Sushi, and BlueIguana Cantina serving authentic Mexican dishes.
As well as the restaurants, they have also amped up the drinks repertoire with a pharmacy themed cocktail bar named the Alchemy Bar, the Caribbean-inspired RedFrog Pub, and the poolside BlueIguana Tequila Bar and RedFrog Rum Bar.
There are also additions for the kids as well, like the Green Thunder, the world’s fastest and steepest water slide at sea which comes as part of the new water park.
Carnival Pride will also feature a 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage departing Tampa Feb. 26, visiting Cozumel, Limon, Colon, Aruba, Bonaire, and St. Maarten before arriving in Baltimore March 12, 2017. Following this voyage, Carnival Pride will resume its year-round schedule of seven-day cruises from Baltimore beginning March 12, 2017.
