Day 1 - Malta

Arrive: Thu 01 June 2017 / Depart: Thu 01 June 2017 at 19:00

An island with a rare distinction, Malta is the only place to have been awarded the George Cross for valour. Described by Sir Walter Scott as ‘the city built by gentlemen for gentlemen', its capital, Valletta, is a beautifully preserved 16 th century walled city. Today, its imposing Grand Harbour bears witness to the Crusaders and Knights Templar who built here on their way to and from the holy land. For the best views of the city, take to the waterways in a ‘dghajjes' or ‘barkloris', a traditional Maltese boat.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Athens (Piraeus)

Arrive: Sat 03 June 2017 / Depart: Sat 03 June 2017

From Piraeus, visit the port of Athens, one of the largest cities in Greece. Standing sentinel over the city, it's hard not to be impressed by the awesome monuments of the Acropolis. A time trip through its ancient remains gives you time to relive the glory years of Greek history. Climb its steep steps and look at the Temple of Athena Nike, beyond the Propylea to its crowning glory, the Parthenon.

Day 4 - Heraklion

Arrive: Sun 04 June 2017 at 08:00 / Depart: Sun 04 June 2017 at 17:00

The proud city of Heraklion is the modern capital of Crete, largest and most ruggedly beautiful of the Greek Isles.

Day 5 - Katakolon

Arrive: Mon 05 June 2017 at 09:00 / Depart: Mon 05 June 2017 at 18:00

A small port on the west coast of the Peloponnese, Katakolon's prime importance is its proximity to the ancient site of Olympia. Here, long before the birth of Jesus, you would have found one of the richest, most beautiful and most highly civilised places the world had ever seen and the original site of the earliest Olympic Games.

Day 6 - Sarande

Arrive: Tue 06 June 2017 at 08:00 / Depart: Tue 06 June 2017 at 18:00

Day 7 - At Sea
