Food & Drink
The main dining venue on board is Discoveries Restaurant. Guests who wish to be sociable will be seated with a large group or alternatively can opt for a more intimate table for two. There are fixed dining times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is an extensive menu on offer with a range of culinary classics expertly prepared by the on board chef.
Windows Café can be found on Deck 9 and offers a more casual dining experience serving an extensive buffet for every meal, as well as traditional afternoon teas following lunch. Other casual options include the Pool Grill which serves made-to-order casual dining; and the Mosaic Café, where guests can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day.
For some speciality dining, then Aqualina offers a range of Italian classics with ingredients including pasta, veal, fish and lobster as well as extravagant desserts including Tiramisu and lemon soufflés. Located close by is Prime C, a classic steakhouse which serves a variety of cuts cooked to perfection by the on board chef. Each restaurant also offers a range of fine wines to perfectly accompany every meal.
Room service is available 24-hours a day with breakfast on offer from 6.30am until 10am and following that, a variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, pizzas and desserts are served.
The Cabaret Lounge serves as the ship’s main entertainment venue and guests can enjoy musical revue shows, live musicians and bands, all in the intimate atmosphere of a nightclub. Alternatively guests can visit the Looking Glass Lounge and take to the dance floor as a live band or DJ provides the soundtrack.
Guests who enjoy games of chance should visit the Casino with table games including blackjack, poker and roulette on offer, along with a number of slot machines. Sports fans can also enjoy all the live action with a flat screen TV and full bar within the venue.
Once on every cruise, guests are invited to a Poolside Party where they can savour an extensive buffet, fine wines, colourful decorations and after-dinner dancing.
There are a number of enrichment programs available on board. Guests wishing to learn more about their destinations can attend Land Discoveries seminars and gain some expert insights before exploring the area. There’s an opportunity to learn some new cooking skills with culinary demonstrations and then guests can test their palette with some wine tasting with the sommelier.
Those who want to keep in touch with all the news from home can do so at a computer station in the eConnections suite which also offers classes in basic computer skills.
The Drawing Room is the perfect place for some quiet contemplation and offers a range of lifestyle and travel books which can be borrowed by guests and read at their leisure.
'Reimagine Azamara' ship refit in 2016
Azamara Journey and Quest will enter dry dock in early 2016 as part of the "Reimagine Azamara" program. No area of the ships will remain untouched with every space being upgraded.
