Like many of the Hurtigruten vessels, the MS Nordkapp is a working boat carrying day passengers and freight as well as cruise guests as it embarks on its 12 day round trip of the Norwegian coast. The ship named after one of the highlights of a trip, the North Cape on the island of Magerøya.
A cruise on the MS Nordkapp offers a round trip from Bergen to Kirkenes over 12 nights stopping at multiple ports every day.
Amenities on board include a restaurant which serves buffet breakfasts and lunches and dinners with waiting service. There is all also a small café which is open 24 hours a day which is also open to members of the public. There is also a small library, and two card rooms. There are several bars on board but the most spectacular views can be found in the panorama lounge.
In summer, passengers can enjoy the curiosity of the midnight sun and the incredible plant and wildlife found on the Norwegian coast, while in winter the darkness plays host to the incredible natural site of the Northern Lights.
