Food & Drink
The two main restaurants proudly bear the name of the company. The Peninsular and the Oriental restaurants serve fine cuisine in a refined setting. The Conservatory is found high on the Lido deck and serves as a casual self-service restaurant. In the evenings, a section becomes Le Jardin - a popular bistro. Passengers can also enjoy Italian fare in Sorrento or grilled favourites in Marco Pierre White’s Ocean Grill.
The Pacific Lounge hosts enrichment craft classes during the day and lively cabaret shows in the evenings. Harlequins provides a classic ballroom environment alongside modern features. Guests can dance the day away on the sprung dance floor as a live band plays. In the evenings, the light and sound system comes to life as the venue transforms into a disco. Chaplin’s Cinema is more than just a silver screen as its 200 seats also play host to lectures and port enhancement talks.
The traditional Library provides plenty of entertainment with books found wall to wall. The Thackeray Room provides a quiet space with Victorian styling where guests can sit and contemplate the world or write a postcard home.
For some sporty relaxation then guests can play in the golf, football and basketball nets or even take a dip in the Terrace Pool. Guests can benefit from some relaxing pampering in the Oasis Spa and enjoy some treatments including massage and aromatherapy.
