This Royal-class ship was launched in May 2014 at a ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy. The ship sailed the Mediterranean for its initial season before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November for a range of Caribbean voyages.
Food & Drink
The Atrium is the heart of the ship and features a wide variety of casual dining options and bars. Snacks from around the world are available at the International Café. Gelatos offers a range of sundaes, ice cream and sweet treats throughout the day. There’s a wide selection of wine available at Vines, and delightful cocktails at Bellini’s . Alfredo’s Pizzeria serves fine handmade pizza for the whole family to enjoy.
There are a number of main dining rooms on board, all with an exquisite menu but giving guests the option to choose from the flexibility of anytime dining or the more traditional set times and seating. For specialist options there’s Sabatini’s which serves fine Italian fare, while the Crown Grill delivers steakhouse classics prepared to perfection.
The entertainment is spectacular on deck in the evenings as amazing lighting brings the Fountain Pool to life for a stunning audio-visual treat. Movies Under the Stars are shown on the big screen and guests can settle down on the loungers and enjoy first run movies.
There are spectacular full-production shows available in the Princess Theatre while musicians, comedians and other entertainers enthral in the Vista Lounge. Passengers can becomes part of the action in the in the Princess Live TV Studio in live game shows.
Club 6 is the ship’s nightclub where the resident DJ plays the perfect beats for guests to dance the nights away. Not far away is the Princess Casino where guests can take their chances with the most popular table top games or play on an array of slot machines.
There are a great number of rejuvenating experiences available in the Lotus Spa’s 18 treatment rooms including massages and facials. The offering has been greatly expanded on Royal-class vessels and the spa now includes a coldarium, sensory showers, heated beds and hydrotherapy pool.
The Sea Walk is found on the top deck and offers stunning ocean views as guests can stroll on this glass bottomed walkway.
The Sanctuary offers the perfect retreat from the rest of the world. This relaxing space is reserved exclusively for adults and also features the tranquil retreat pool.
