As the inaugural ship for Silversea Cruises, Silver Cloud epitomises everything that is Silversea. 2012 begins with Silver Cloud soaking up the Caribbean sun. Then it’s a quick stop in Bermuda en route to a European season that extends from April through August. Silver Cloud heads south to the warmer Mediterranean waters for autumn and come November, crosses the Atlantic to explore the Amazon and trace the eastern coast of South America, arriving at the end of the year at the “end of the world” in Chile.

 

Silversea’s Millennium Class ships – Silver Shadow and her sister ship Silver Whisper – are built with proportions slightly larger in size than their two earlier ships, yet they retain the same level of genuine hospitality. Third in the Silversea fleet, the Silver Shadow cruise ship introduced guests to the next generation of Silversea cruising while maintaining Silversea’s award winning, all-suite luxury and trademark intimate ambience. Spectacular New Zealand fiords and Australia’s Outback are but two of the unforgettable destinations encountered aboard Silver Shadow cruises during 2011. Following a brief drydock, Silver Shadow guests will enjoy fully refreshed onboard décor as they cruise into extraordinary Far East ports.
