Silversea Cruises recently announced that it will move Silver Cloud to its luxury expedition fleet in November 2017. Destined mostly for polar waters, the ship that launched the ultra–luxury cruise line will be converted into an ice–class ship during an extensive refurbishment scheduled to start in August 2017.
Food & Drink
Even though the Silver Cloud is a small ship there are a number of dining options on board. The main dining room is simply called The Restaurant. The menu is tailored to suit the journey with local ingredients and flavours to perfectly compliment the destination. For something extra special guests can reserve a table at Le Champagne, a specialist artisan restaurant. For something a little less formal then enjoy the lunch and snacks at the Pool Grill.
The Show Lounge in the centre of entertainment providing the glitz and glamour with performances to enjoy from classical musicians to West End shows. To take some chances visit the casino and play the best table top games as well as a range of machines. The Bar is the perfect venue to mingle with other guests and dance the night away.
Every day is different on board the Silver Cloud with a range of activities available. Enrich yourself with lectures and demonstrations on a range of subjects. Play board games or bingo in one of the lounges. For more active pursuits attend the fitness centre or play some putting, table tennis or shuffleboard.
