Edelweiss is main dining room and offers a range of culinary delights for breakfast and dinner, with lunch served on select seas days. Guests can to choose for either assigned dining times or can opt for My Time Dining allowing them to choose to eat whenever they choose.
A less formal alternative is the Windjammer Café which offers a fine selection of buffet meals for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Park Café is part of the adult’s only solarium and serves breakfast, light snacks and pastries throughout the day.
In addition there are a number of premium options to add some variety to the cruise dining experience. Chops Grille is an American-style steakhouse and offers the finest grilled meats and a selection of seafood. Giovanni’s Table is serves traditional Italian cooking with a range of pasta dishes and delicious deserts. Izumi is an Asian restaurant with a focus on Japanese dishes from sushi to sashimi.
The ultimate dining experience on board is the Chef’s Table where guests can enjoy a five course meal prepared by the head chef with wines especially selected by the ship’s sommelier.
There are eight bars on board including the chic Schooner’s Bar which hosts live piano music to add to the atmosphere, and the Viking Crown Lounge which is perched at the top of the ship’s Centrum complex and offers stunning panoramic ocean views.
The Broadway Melodies lounge is the main entertainment venue on board ship and hosts musical revue shows from the resident singers and dancers as well as some special performances from guest artists. There are also a range of entertainment alternatives in the Shall we Dance Lounge with live music, dancing, karaoke and games throughout the day
The Casino Royale features all the favourite table games including roulette, poker and black accompanied by a selection of slots to keep every gamer happy.
A recent upgrade added an outdoor movie screen so cinema fans can sit out on deck and enjoy their favourite films.
The main pool is on deck 9 and is surrounded by four hot tubs and plenty of loungers to enjoy the sun. There’s also a covered pool and additional hot tubs in the Solarium.
The Fitness Centre features a range of fitness equipment with weight machines, exercise bikes, treadmills and elliptical trainers. There’s also a rock-climbing wall for those looking for some adventurous exercise and a jogging track to enjoy a run in the open air.
There’s plenty of pampering available in the Day Spa including massage, facials and acupuncture along with a range of beauty treatments.
The library provides a quiet space to enjoy some fine literature of the perfect opportunity to research one of the cruise destinations in one of the reference books.
