The MS Prinsendam is one of the smallest ships in the Holland America fleet holding just 835 passengers. The size of the ship gives cruisers a sense of 'coziness' that can't be felt on the other larger ships. It also gives the ship a yacht like feel. The majority of staterooms on board contain verandahs giving guests a majestic view of the oceans.

The MS Prinsendam features a 3 storey atrium which is dominated by a fibre optical lit sculpture designed especially for the ship. Guests can enjoy a number of facilities in and around the ship as with all ships in the Holland America fleet.
