The port of Kiel in Germany is at the heart of the city. If you like lighthouses, the visit to the Bülk lighthouse will be a source of great satisfaction. Kiel is a city in Northern Germany, whose origins date back to the 13th century. Its story has been widely influenced by maritime activities and currently is one of the European capitals that holds nautical races. The port of Kiel is located right in the city centre and is the ideal starting point for a visit. Between visits to the old railroads and the unmissable WWII submarine, enjoy a stop at the Bülk lighthouse. You can also visit the botanical gardens and the numerous animal ranches out of town.

We visit Ålesund to discover the wonderful grandeur of the fjords and then enjoy the Art Nouveau style of the city. It’s hard travel to Ålesund without succumbing to the unique charm of this city. The administrative centre of the same name is also the Norwegian epicentre of Art Nouveau. Once landed at the port of Ålesund, you can start your tour at the fjords, mysterious sea inlets surrounded by sheer cliffs. If you get the chance, look out for the picturesque midnight sun. And don't forget to sample the Pinnekjøtt watered with brandy!

The city's distinctive features include traditional timber warehouses and wooden houses. As a university town and a centre of the whaling industry,Tromso has enjoyed considerable prosperity with a thriving social and cultural life. The university is world renowned for its Geology and Natural Science faculties.

Day 8 - Leknes, Lofoten

Like all typical places of Norway, Leknes was shaped by the strength of the Vikings. Yet it also features the delicacy of glass works of the famous blower Vikten. Leknes is at the centre of the Lofoten Islands, below the Arctic polar circle. Contrary to other Norwegian Islands, these islands boast vast verdant expanses that you can admire upon your arrival at the port. Visit the surroundings of Leknes and discover the landscapes of Nappskaret and the other islands of the archipelago. Don’t miss the works of the magical glassblower of Vikten, kept in an extraordinary building of great architectural value by the sea. Finish off your stop in Leknes by browsing the many shops in the area.

The Norway is a fascinating country famous for its natural beauty, but also for its architectural beauty, as can be seen when we stop at the port of Trondheim. Trondheim, once called Nidaros, was the capital of Norway until 1217. Today it is a university town, characterised by a dynamic and thriving cultural scene. The port of Trondheim will enable you to discover the gastronomic aspect of the city with its bars, cafés, restaurants and food and beer festivals. During your stay, take time to stroll through the city, cross the bridge of the old town and visit the royal residence (Stiftsgården). Don't miss historical sites such as the cathedral of Nidaros, which was built around the tomb of King Olav Haraldsson.
