Day 1 - Genoa

Arrive: Thu 03 November 2022 / Depart: Thu 03 November 2022 at 19:00

Genoa (Genova) is a port city and the capital of northwest Italy's Liguria region. It's known for its central role in maritime trade over many centuries. In the old town stands the Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo, with its black-and-white-striped facade and frescoed interior. Narrow lanes open onto monumental squares like Piazza de Ferrari, site of an iconic bronze fountain and Teatro Carlo Felice opera house.

Day 2 - Marseille

Arrive: Fri 04 November 2022 at 09:00 / Depart: Fri 04 November 2022 at 19:00

A pleasant thing to do is simply sit down at one of the cafes overlooking the port of Marseilles and, sipping a Pastis, observe the landscape and the people who inhabit it. Also called the "Porpoise City ", Marseille is France’s sunniest town, charming with its gullies where you can swim, its history and culture and restaurants with cosmopolitan cuisine. You cannot leave without having first toured on the “Cours Julien”, the street for shopping. The port of Marseille is perhaps a typical tourist destination, but it deserves to be visited for the ferry that leaves from the Town Hall and the old church, which replaced a Templar building.

Day 3 - Barcelona

Arrive: Sat 05 November 2022 at 09:00 / Depart: Sat 05 November 2022 at 19:00

Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain with three million inhabitants, a dominating port in northern Mediterranean with one of the most renowned and important universities in the world. The city is a very rich commercial centre, where industrial operations crucial to the Spanish economy take place. In fact, Catalans have always considered their region unique compared with the other Spanish regions and we can find its roots in the power exercised by Barcelona for four hundred years at least on Spanish monarchy and on European commercial events.

Day 4 - At sea

Day 5 - Cagliari

Arrive: Mon 07 November 2022 at 07:00 / Depart: Mon 07 November 2022 at 17:00

In the south of Sardinia, in the Golfo degli Angeli, stands Cagliari, a beautiful city of Carthaginian origin which provides some evocative glimpses of its Roman, Spanish and Savoy past. Despite being closer to Tunisia than Rome, Cagliari is the most Italian of Sardinia's cities, where a multitude of vespas and mopeds whizz down the tree-lined boulevards and crowded places hidden under the harbour arcades. Like many Italian cities, Cagliari is steeped in history and wherever you are, you'll find traces of its rich past: ancient Roman ruins, museums full of prehistoric artefacts, centuries-old churches and elegant palaces. Day 6 - Palermo

Arrive: Tue 08 November 2022 at 08:00 / Depart: Tue 08 November 2022 at 16:00

Strategically placed between Europe and Africa, the island of Sicily has for centuries been a focus of military and commercial activity. And the city of Palermo is still today a fascinating centre of culture and enterprise. According to historical research, the prehistoric inhabitants of Palermo, once named Panormus because of its deep bay and anchorage, lived in caves and shelters around the 660-metre high Mount Pellegrino, which dominates the city's skyline. The city has been ruled by all the great ancient powers of the region including Greek, Punic, Roman, Carthaginian, Byzantine, Saracen, Norman, Spanish and Bourbon.

Day 7 - Rome

Arrive: Wed 09 November 2022 at 08:30 / Depart: Wed 09 November 2022 at 19:30

Your gateway to the Eternal City, Civitavecchia has served as Rome's seaport since the 13th century. The port has a long and venerable history. The emperor Trajan built a pleasure villa near the modern city, while Bernini and Michelangelo designed the harbor fortifications. Yet the Eternal City eternally beckons. The ancient capital of the Western World and the center of Christianity for nearly 2,000 years, Rome provides an inexhaustible feast. Visit the ruins of the Forum, view the splendors of the Sistine Chapel, or climb the Spanish Steps, once the heart of Rome's Bohemian Quarter. Rome has been a magnet luring the world's greatest artists, architects, and philosophers since the days of the Caesars.

Day 8 - Genoa

Arrive: Thu 10 November 2022 at 09:00 / Depart: Thu 10 November 2022
