Past cruises fantastic, carried over cruise from 2021 felt left in the cold

I rated Cruise Kings 4 stars as I have been on some wonderful cruises ie Hawaii, and New England to name just a few, however after rebooking my 2021 Alaska and Rocky Mountaineer bucket list cruise to 2022 I really felt alone to the point were I thought my adviser had left the company all my phone calls to her direct line went straight to answer machine then not returned , to the point were I had to say I thought you had left the company. Having now spoken to a manager all has been resolved and we and my daughter and her husband have booked for Norway in 2023. Great job by Valerie who was a complete star.

Phil Rea / January 2022

Day 1 - Amsterdam

Arrive: Sun 29 May 2022 / Depart: Sun 29 May 2022

Northwest of Amsterdam is the large, tranquil beach of IJmuiden. And then straight to the city, where you'll be overwhelmed by the beauty of this unique capital. Amsterdam was once a small fishing village that developed due to the various influences it came under. Today, the city is an international destination for tourism and culture. As soon as you arrive at the port of Amsterdam, you'll sense the contagious atmosphere that pervades it and the culture of sharing. Spend some time visiting the Gothic church of Nieuwe Kerk and then dive into the past by visiting the Anne Frank House in the Grachtengordel district. Complete your visit with a walk in the Oud-West district, with its bars and its characteristic "Brown Cafés".

Day 2 - At sea

Day 3 - Stavanger, Norway

Arrive: Tue 31 May 2022 / Depart: Tue 31 May 2022

The world has a petroleum museum and it is located in Stavanger in Norway. We can visit the museum during our cruise in the northern seas. Stavanger is Norway’s third largest city and has prospered from its oil activities. Today, it is a pillar of the domestic economy and a key protagonist in the European Community. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Petroleum Museum, with its unusual modern architecture. Also take the time to climb to the top of Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) to admire the breath-taking view. You'll feel like you’ve travelled back in time when you explore the Gamale, a district full of houses built in white wood.

Day 4 - Molde, Norway

Arrive: Wed 01 June 2022 / Depart: Wed 01 June 2022

Molde, situated on the Romsdalsfjord, is known as the “city of roses”, because it is the only Norwegian city where the climate allows them to grow. Molde, nicknamed the rose city because of the many roses that are located in its grounds, is situated on a magnificent fjord in southwestern Norway. Once you arrive at the port of Molde, visit the Museum of Romsdal, which exhibits the different buildings and regional interiors from the 16th to the 19th century. Finally, take advantage of the break to travel a road surrounded by greenery and leading you to the Varden viewpoint. From here you can enjoy a great view of the city, the beautiful fjord of Romsdal and its surrounding 222 snowy peaks.

Day 4 - Andalsnes

Arrive: Wed 01 June 2022 / Depart: Wed 01 June 2022

If you love the fascinating landscapes of the north, take a Costa Cruise to Norway. In Åndalsnes you can go on invigorating walks along the Trolls Road. Located southwest of Norway, on the banks of the Rauma River that flows into the fjord Romsdal, the town of Åndalsnes is surrounded by mountains and sublime landscapes. The famous Trolls’ Road (Trollstingen), one of the most beloved of Norway, is a magnificent dry fjord whose beauty you can contemplate from the top. Climbing enthusiasts can scale the cliff walls of Trolls to a height of 1100 metres. Fun fact: once you leave the port of Åndalsnes, you'll be amazed by the chapel wagon located in front of the station.

Day 5 - At sea

Day 6 - Bodo

Arrive: Fri 03 June 2022 / Depart: Fri 03 June 2022

We dock at the port of Bodø with our Costa Cruise ship, knowing that we will find wonderful attractions to discover and admire during our trips. Situated on a peninsula Northwest of Norway, just below the Arctic Circle, Bodø will greet us with its beauty. Once arrived at the port, we can see the white-tailed eagles flying over the city. About thirty kilometres from the coast, we can witness the extraordinary spectacle of the mightiest maelstrom in the world, also the subject of a short story by Edgar Allan Poe. Entering the city, if you are an art lover, you'll appreciate the products from local artisans, like the jewellery makers and glass blowers. Sea, mountains, the dynamism of city life: there are so many activities to enchant you.

Day 7 - Narvik

Narvik is the third-largest municipality in Nordland county, Norway by population. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Narvik

Day 8 - Leknes, Lofoten

Like all typical places of Norway, Leknes was shaped by the strength of the Vikings. Yet it also features the delicacy of glass works of the famous blower Vikten. Leknes is at the centre of the Lofoten Islands, below the Arctic polar circle. Contrary to other Norwegian Islands, these islands boast vast verdant expanses that you can admire upon your arrival at the port. Visit the surroundings of Leknes and discover the landscapes of Nappskaret and the other islands of the archipelago. Finish off your stop in Leknes by browsing the many shops in the area.

Here you can stroll along the harbour watching the fishermen or walk along the Haraldsgata, the shopping street filled with bars and restaurants. Bremerhaven, on Germany’s North Sea coast, is about 50 kilometres from the city of Bremen. It has its own enthralling atmosphere, due, in part, to its interesting harbour. This young coastal city has many attractions, including a fine zoo near to the sea. During our cruise to Germany, we’ll stop at the port of Bremerhaven where the story of German maritime history was born. Rebuilt after World War II, the city is today, an expression of a young and open Germany Take advantage of this stop in the port of Bremerhaven to discover a city that is a symbol of German maritime history. Costa Fortuna From Costa Cruises

Costa Fortuna is a tribute to ocean liners of the past. Built symbolically in the legendary shipyards of Genova Sestri Ponente, the Costa Fortuna is Costa Magica’s sister ship. Its motto is "first class, always" for the refinement of the furnishings and the elegance of its setting. The public areas are decorated with reproductions of advertising images of the roaring ‘20s and ‘30s, with posters of the Michelangelo and Raffaello ocean liners. In the lobby there are models of 26 ships of the past that have been part of the Costa Cruises fleet. Thirteen decks are dedicated to international ports. 4 pools, one with a retractable roof, hot tubs and slide, open decks, casino, disco, the Rex 1932 theatre, all this classified Costa Fortuna as one of the first ships with new standards of quality and hospitality for holidays on the sea, to sail in great comfort to any destination in all seasons. Now take a look at the current position of Costa Fortuna.
