Past cruises fantastic, carried over cruise from 2021 felt left in the cold

I rated Cruise Kings 4 stars as I have been on some wonderful cruises ie Hawaii, and New England to name just a few, however after rebooking my 2021 Alaska and Rocky Mountaineer bucket list cruise to 2022 I really felt alone to the point were I thought my adviser had left the company all my phone calls to her direct line went straight to answer machine then not returned , to the point were I had to say I thought you had left the company. Having now spoken to a manager all has been resolved and we and my daughter and her husband have booked for Norway in 2023. Great job by Valerie who was a complete star.

Phil Rea / January 2022

Day 1 - New York

Arrive: Fri 09 September 2022 / Depart: Fri 09 September 2022

New York City. Global nexus of art and architecture, fashion and finance, cuisine and culture. Each of its five boroughs has a distinct personality, with family-friendly Brooklyn renowned for its trend-setting artisan shops, hipster vibe, museums and micro-breweries. The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is located in the borough’s Red Hook area – an up-and-coming hotspot with a recent influx of restaurants, retailers and art houses - putting guests within easy rich of the city’s legendary attractions.

Day 2 - Newport, Rhode Island

Arrive: Sat 10 September 2022 / Depart: Sat 10 September 2022

Astylish, world-famous yachting center with a long tradition of elegance, the colonial sections of Newport boast many authentic historic buildings, some dating back to the 1600s. Most impressive are the opulent summer "cottages" built by industrial-age tycoons. Fashioned after palaces of Europe, their interiors boast lavish use of marble, alabaster, gilt, mosaics and stained glass complemented by magnificent furnishings and fine tapestries.

Day 3 - Boston, USA

Arrive: Sun 11 September 2022 / Depart: Sun 11 September 2022

Relive nearly four hundred years of history as you explore the Freedom Trail, the Old North Church and the Boston Common. A few miles away lie Lexington and Concord where the momentous events that began in 1775 come alive. Boston has not been content to rest on the laurels of its glorious past. Progress is everywhere. Glazed high-rises soar skyward and the colorful waterfront area has been artfully renovated.

Day 4 - Bar Harbor

Arrive: Mon 12 September 2022 / Depart: Mon 12 September 2022

Cradled off the craggy coast of Maine lies Mount Desert Island and the charming seaport town of Bar Harbor. Earlier last century, when it was the summer retreat of millionaires, it boasted magnificent estate homes, or "cottages," many of which were completely destroyed by the fire of 1947. However, some things never change. The priceless asset of the island's scenic beauty remains untouched by time. Vistas of emerald-green forests and rugged valleys from the superb vantage point of Mount Cadillac remain just as spectacular, and the rugged shoreline scenery is still as awe inspiring as it ever was.

Day 5 - St John

Arrive: Tue 13 September 2022 / Depart: Tue 13 September 2022

Here on the Bay of Fundy, a rare phenomenon known as the Reversing Rapids occurs when high bay tides collide with the Saint John River. History is impressive, too, with Canada’s oldest continuously operating farmers’ market and oldest museum. Nearby, Irving Nature Park’s salt marshes, volcanic rock and forests are explored on winding trails.

Day 6 - Halifax

Arrive: Wed 14 September 2022 / Depart: Wed 14 September 2022

Bagpipers bid a warm welcome to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia and the most Scottish of all Canada’s great cities. The Citadel Fortress, which dates to the city’s founding in 1749, stands over the thriving downtown area, where modern buildings nestle alongside the exquisitely restored Historic Properties waterfront. Here you can shop for authentic Scottish tartans and superb hand-knit woolens. Nova Scotians claim they have the freshest air and warmest smiles in Canada.

Day 7 - Cruising the Gulf of St Lawrence

Day 8 - St. Anthony, Newfoundland

Arrive: Fri 16 September 2022 / Depart: Fri 16 September 2022

With a population of just over 25,000 in the whole surrounding region, St. Anthony’s energetic atmosphere might surprise you. This “hub of the Great Northern Peninsula” is the ideal locale for actively exploring the rugged coastlines of territory less traveled, home to the UNESCO-listed L’Anse aux Meadows and the world’s largest moose population. It’s also common to spy the giants of the sea, as several whale species, porpoises and seals make the northern waters their playground.

Day 9 - Cruising the Gulf of St Lawrence

Day 10 - Quebec City, Canada

Arrive: Sun 18 September 2022

Québec stands proudly beside the majestic St. Lawrence River, resembling no other city in the world. Its cuisine, language and traditions combine to make this a unique cradle of French civilization in North America. Within fortress walls high atop Cap Diamant, the old city is a sheer delight for lovers of history. Here, magnificent churches, cobbled streets, fragrant gardens and chic boutiques all vie for your attention. Just outside the city, you'll discover a veritable riot of fall colors, North America's largest shrine, picturesque villages and an impressive waterfall. At the end of the day, there is the tempting opportunity to discover the French art of good cooking at some of North America's finest restaurants.
