Starting in cool Vancouver, you’ll enjoy a welcomed 2 night stay, giving you ample time to explore the culinary capital of Canada. Meander around the beautiful Stanley Park and take in spectacular views from the mountains, before embarking on a bucket list 6 night Western Canada Iconic Sites Tour. This small group tour provides a truly unique Canadian experience, with overnight stays in Whistler, Sun Peaks, Jasper, Banff and Kelowna. Itinerary for Western Canada Iconic Sites & Alaska

Day 1 - Fly UK to Vancouver / Enjoy Vancouver

Day 2 - Enjoy Vancouver

Day 3 - Whistler

Depart downtown Vancouver and stop at the beautiful Shannon Falls. Travel the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway and take another top at Brandywine Falls. Arrive in Whistler Village and enjoy a walking tour. Experience the famous Peak 2 Peak Sightseeing Gondola that connects Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Check into your centrally located hotel located at the base of Whistler Mountain then you will have leisure time to enjoy the hotel amenities and explore Whistler Village.

Day 4 - Sun Peaks

Depart Whistler and drive through Pemberton and Lillooet and stop at a beautiful winery with wine tasting included. Next, arrive in Sun Peaks and check into the Grand hotel. Take the sightseeing chairlift enjoying spectacular views and hike through the alpine wildflowers at the top. Enjoy a group dinner then you will have free time to enjoy the hotel amenities including an outdoor pool and hot tub or spend your leisure time experiencing the pedestrian village.

Day 5 - Jasper

Visit Spahats Falls in Clearwater and stop at Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Check into your centrally located hotel in the town of Jasper and enjoy free time to explore the town of Jasper and discover some of the delicious eateries.

Day 6 - Icefields Parkway to Banff

Enjoy a walk along an interpretive trail and experience the wonders of Maligne Canyon including waterfalls, underground stream outlets, and unexpectedly lush plant life. Travel to the Columbia Icefields and go on the World Renowned Glacier Adventure then travel the Icefields Parkway. You will arrive in the town of Banff and check in to your hotel and experience Banff at your leisure. 

Day 7 - Banff

Take the Banff Mountain Gondola and have a buffet breakfast while enjoying the amazing views of the Rockies. Enjoy a tour of Banff townsite including Bow Falls, HooDoos, Banff Springs Hotel. Enjoy free time for shopping and sightseeing on Banff Avenue or participating in an exciting outdoor activity such as e-biking, horseback riding, canoeing (bow river float), hiking, hot springs, or even a helicopter tour. 

Day 8 - Lake Louise & Kelowna

Explore beautiful Lake Louise & Moraine Lake. You will then travel through Roger’s Pass and check into your centrally located hotel in downtown Kelowna. Explore the town of Kelowna with and discover the many dining options to choose from.

Day 9 - Okanagan Valley to Vancouver / Enjoy Vancouver

Explore the Okanagan Valley with a stop at a farmer’s market and winery before return to Vancouver.

Day 10 - Embark Brilliance of the Seas in Vancouver

Ranked in the world’s top 5 cities for quality of life, on a clear day you’ll see as far as distant Mount Baker. Find nirvana amongst the ferns and lofty cedars in Stanley Park, taste oysters in Granville Island market, and explore historic Gastown.

Day 11 - Inside Passage, Cruising

You'll sail beyond the Inside Passage into the more protected Alaska Inside Passage, a complex labyrinth of fjords and bays where whales and sea lions find refuge during the summer months.

Day 12 - Sitka

Sitka truly offers the best of Alaska. Its small-town appeal stems from a unique blend of Russian, Tlingit and American history. Its snow-capped peaks and volcanic Mount Edgecumbe pose amongst the state’s most postcard-worthy scenes. And its rare wildlife astounds, from Saint Lazaria Island’s orange-beaked puffins to Alaska Maritime Refuge’s 40 million seabirds. This is off-the-beaten-track Alaska, where you can kayak Sitka Sound alongside swimming sea otters or fly-fish for the world’s biggest halibut. Whether it’s hiking along Baranof Island trails or listening to tribal stories passed down for generations, in Sitka the midnight sun never sets on adventure.

Day 13 - Juneau

You can’t get to Juneau easily without a sprint by air or by sea. But once you arrive you’ll find majestic views and rich culture in every corner. With its snowcapped mountains, misty rainforests, massive glaciers and bounty of wildlife, Alaska’s remote state capital is the perfect place to dive into nature. Framed by Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, the city’s picturesque central area offers centuries-old bars, boutique shops and historical landmarks. For a taste of the local culture, visit the historic district and the Alaska State Museum. And for outdoor thrills, you can take your pick of activities ranging from whale watching in Auke Bay Harbour to tundra trekking over Mendenhall Glacier, and even try your hand at gold panning in Last Chance Basin.

Day 14 - Hubbard Glacier

Experience the daunting power of the largest tidewater glacier in North America. While most glaciers tend to thin and retreat, Hubbard Glacier continues to thicken and actively advance toward the Gulf of Alaska, earning the nickname “Galloping Glacier”. Sailing into Disenchantment Bay near the glacier’s 400-foot-tall face, you’ll get panoramic views of its gigantic expanse— Hubbard is a monstrous 76 miles long and 1,200 feet deep.

Day 15 - Ketchikan

Ketchikan sits at the southern end of Alaska’s Inside Passage – a gateway to the wild landscapes and seascapes of Misty Fjords National Monument. The canned salmon capital of the world, it’s a hub for fishing and outdoor sports. It’s also home to three tribes of Northwest Coast Indians, making it a great place to get a taste for the local culture. You’ll see it in the colourful, hand-carved totems that line the city’s streets and parks, and in the unique stilted homes that cling to Deer Mountain’s slopes. If you want to get up close and personal with nature, venture into the Tongass National Forest, the largest in the United States. Or head to Ketchikan Creek Waterfall for amazing views of downtown Ketchikan and a glimpse at the yearly salmon runs.

Day 16 - Inside Passage, Cruising
