MS Fram was launched in 2007 and designed to take passengers where other cruise ships could not venture. The ship was designed to sail the Polar waters and voyages to the Arctic Ocean in the summer and Antarctica during other months.
This modern expedition vessel has a stylish Norwegian interior with fittings made of blonde wood. The pictures on the wall reflect the expeditions of old with images of the great Polar explorers and the snow-covered landscapes they conquered.
Although it is a compact ship there are two lounges on board where guests can share their stories of the nature and wildlife they encountered on the daily expeditions into the unknown.
There’s a gym on board for guests who don’t consider the expeditions enough of a physical challenge or others may prefer to relax in the warm Jacuzzis while the ship sales past towering icebergs.
MS Fram sales around the coast of Greenland above the Arctic circle in the summer months. In the autumn it embarks on an epic repositioning cruise to the Southern Hemisphere where is spends the rest of the year exploring Antarctica.
