MS Trollfjord is one of the newer ships in the Hurtigruten fleet and features all the comforts of a 21st century cruise vessel. It is named after Trollfjord, a 2km stretch between the archipelagos of Lofoten and Vesterålenand which is one of the most spectacular views on a Hurtigruten cruise.
MS Trollfjord is the sister ship of the MS Midnatsol and shares many of the same features. The interior is distinctly Norwegian with extensive use of wood and stone.
Across the nine decks, guests can find a range of amenities including a spacious atrium, several bars, a library and spectacular views from the panorama lounge. There are also Jacuzzis on the sun deck so passengers can enjoy the stunning views in comfort and warmth.
The ship carries passengers on a 12 night cruise around the Norwegian coast from Bergen to the icy north of Kirkenes, stopping off at plenty of ports along the way. There are opportunities for a variety of excursions from kayaking to a walk along a glacier.
