The capital city of Newfoundland and Labrador has a rich, colourful history. St. John’s has oodles of old world charm, interesting architecture, historic landmarks, beautiful countryside and a cultural scene as fresh as the Atlantic. St. John’s first permanent settlers were the British in the mid-18th century, and North America’s oldest city has long been an exploration gateway to the Avalon Peninsula, Cape Spear and the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve. To this day, St. John's is much-loved by visitors who arrive for the chance to see indigenous wildlife such as puffins, whales and other natural wonders. St. John’s jelly-bean-coloured houses line hilly streets, and the city is home to artists, musicians, and wonderful, cutting-edge eateries. The Downtown district typically offers the best food, pubs, entertainment and shopping, while Signal Hill, one of Canada's National Historic Sites, provides incredible views of the spectacular harbour and surrounding areas.

The Eastern Canadian port of Halifax is the provincial capital of Nova Scotia with a rich maritime history. A vital part of Canada's infrastructure, Halifax is a major economic centre with many government and public sector companies based here, including the Department of National Defence. Praised for its quality of life, Halifax is a proud, vibrant city that represents modern Canada.The urban city centre is home to a number of landmark buildings, and Halifax’s architecture will suit all tastes. Its Old Fort, Maritime Museum, Central Library and Art Gallery are all worth visiting and exploring. The city has a thriving arts, theatre and culinary scene, and Halifax pubs, with their craft beer culture, add to the whole experience. Point Pleasant Park is particularly popular due to its seaside location, as is a stroll through the tiny Peggy's Cove, with its bustling fishing harbour and lobster fishery.

The city of Corner Brook is an historic Canadian city located on the west coast of Newfoundland. Corner Brook is lauded for its fishing, railway and paper industries. It is also steeped in history, and boasts the Captain James Cook Monument, one of Canada’s National Historic Sites. The downtown area is a maze of interlocking brick sidewalks, open green spaces and lots of shops, galleries and restaurants. Although the town is pretty and sleepy, for more adventurous types, there are plenty of outdoor pursuits to try. Marble Mountain Ski Resort is on the doorstep, as is some wonderfully rugged terrain to explore.

Red Bay is a fishing village in Labrador, notable as one of the most precious underwater archaeological sites in the Americas. Between 1530 and the early 17th century, it was a major Basque whaling area.

L'Anse aux Meadows is an archaeological site on the northernmost tip of the Great Northern Peninsula on the island of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Archaeological evidence of a Norse presence was discovered at L'Anse aux Meadows in the 1960s.

Meaning the Great Plain this city enjoys unimpeded views of endless green fields and verdant slopes and explains why Erik the Red chose the name Greenland when he settled here in 985. To this day the ruins of the Norse era are clearly visible, as are the reconstructions of Erik's farmstead and Thjodhildur's Church. In the village of Igaliku lie the ruins of the Viking's Cathedral and the Episcopal Bishop's Farm.

The town is best known for it's natural 'skyscrapers', which are the jagged peaks and sheer cliffs around the area. Other attractions include an open-air museum, and a wooden church dating from 1916.

Reykjavik – Iceland’s stunning coastal capital and cultural centre – is the world’s most northerly capital. The city combines colourful buildings, impulsive, creative people, extraordinary design, and some of the country’s most beautiful natural wonders. The cosmopolitan city with big heart is home to the Althing – the world’s oldest parliament, and the National and Saga Museums, which trace Iceland’s Viking history. The impressive Hallgrímskirkja Church bell tower and the rotating Perlan glass dome offer panoramic views off island. Reykjavik’s galleries and exhibitions, including the outstanding Reykjavík Art Museum and National Gallery, feature radical Icelandic design, and there are many public art installations. The capital has benefited from a surge in high-quality restaurant openings, offering a broad mix of creative cuisine. Daytime cafés switch to restaurants and bars at night – tapas, concept-dining and burger joints all sit comfortably together. And then there’s the wonderful nightlife. Located in southwest Iceland – characterised by vast peninsulas, coves, straits and islands – Reykjavik is in easy reach of several must-see geological attractions. The iconic Golden Circle Trail includes the Blue Lagoon Spa, the Thingvellir National Park, the renowned Gullfoss Waterfall, and the incredible Geysir hot springs. Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach – Reykjavik’s little bit of paradise – is also unmissable. The popular sandy beach and geothermal lagoon, where cold sea and hot geothermal waters meet to produce higher temperatures, offers hot-tubs, steam baths and various water sports to try.

While she’s one of the largest ships, by overall size, in our fleet, Bolette has capacity for less than 1,400 guests. So, in keeping with our smaller-ship ethos, you’ll find that you’re not overcrowded on board, Show lessand have plenty of space in which to indulge yourself in the stylish dining venues, enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple and fantastic entertainment at the bars, lounges and theatres, and while away the hours by the all-season pool.
