Day 1 - Palma

Arrive: Tue 04 June 2024 / Depart: Tue 04 June 2024 at 22:00

Beaches or bargains, the sea or sights. Palma has it all, together with enough sunshine and souvenirs to keep anyone happy. If you like beaches, cafes or simply lazing around in the sunshine, you'll love Palma, together with the nearby resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf. Before you relax, though, make sure you visit Palma City itself to see the Moorish palace, the designer stores and the quaint shops and cobbled streets of the old city, behind the Gothic Cathedral. And for souvenirs, make a bee-line for Inca, the largest street market on the island which opens every Thursday.

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - Florence/Pisa

Arrive: Thu 06 June 2024 at 07:00 / Depart: Thu 06 June 2024 at 19:00

A charming town itself, La Spezia is also the gateway to the beautiful Le Cinque Terre region. At the centre of the most captivating coastal area of Italy called the Gulf of the Poets, La Spezia has the typical narrow streets and yellow, pink and orange buildings of old Italian towns. It is beyond the town, however, where the real beauty lies.

Day 4 - Propriano

Arrive: Fri 07 June 2024 at 09:00 / Depart: Fri 07 June 2024 at 17:00

An isle of majestic mountains rising up from turquoise seas, idyllic Corsica overflows with natural beauty. Set on Corsica's southwestern coast, Propriano is a bustling harbour town. Boasting a wide array of cafes and boutiques this is the place to shop and people-watch. Propriano is also known for its selection of traditional Corsican restaurants where you can sample some mouthwatering specialities such as garlicky ratatouille and fresh fish soup. Propriano is perfectly placed to visit the 4,000 year old life-size statues of Filitosa.

Day 5 - Cannes

Arrive: Sat 08 June 2024 at 08:00 / Depart: Sat 08 June 2024 at 18:00

This party port is all about the see-and-be-seen life-style. As such it comes with a marina packed with millionaires' yachts, super-cars purring through the streets and a shopping scene that's all about names. So it's little wonder it's such a hit with the jet-set. But that's just the famous face of Cannes – the one that rolls out the red carpet for the annual Film Festival. There's still a trace of authentic France to be found, too. Think 19th century mansions, waterfront cafes and cliff-fringed beaches.

Day 6 - Marseille

Arrive: Sun 09 June 2024 at 08:00 / Depart: Sun 09 June 2024 at 17:00

One of the most romantic ports in the Mediterranean, Marseilles is steeped in history and begs to be explored. Think Marseilles and the first words that spring to mind are antiquity, seafood, museums, history and travel. The Provencal city that sprawls around a 2,600 year old port features a bustling downtown shopping area, green parks, a medieval-village-style neighbourhood, and wonderful seafood.

Day 7 - Tarragona

Arrive: Mon 10 June 2024 at 09:00 / Depart: Mon 10 June 2024 at 18:00

Steeped in historical interest and home to one of Europe's largest amusement parks, the charming Catalonian port of Tarragona really does have something for everyone. Developed by Julius Caesar and favoured by archaeologists for its wealth of Roman artefacts, charismatic Tarragona perches on a rocky hill overlooking the Mediterranean. On the hill's southern slopes, the old town contains many sites of historical interest. Quiet pedestrian streets make browsing in the many antique shops and grottos a real pleasure, while to the east you can stroll along the beautiful terraced avenue of Paseo de les Palmeres. Closer to port you can ramble along a pathway, taking in the ancient city walls and cypress-lined gardens. If you want to get off the beaten track, head to nearby Montserrat (pictured above) for stunning views of the Catalan countryside.

Day 8 - Palma

Arrive: Tue 11 June 2024 at 06:00 / Depart: Tue 11 June 2024

Beaches or bargains, the sea or sights. Palma has it all, together with enough sunshine and souvenirs to keep anyone happy. If you like beaches, cafes or simply lazing around in the sunshine, you'll love Palma, together with the nearby resorts of Palma Nova and Magaluf. Before you relax, though, make sure you visit Palma City itself to see the Moorish palace, the designer stores and the quaint shops and cobbled streets of the old city, behind the Gothic Cathedral.
