Itinerary for Canada, New England & USA Journey

Day 1 - Fly UK to Montreal / Enjoy Montreal

Day 2 - Enjoy Montreal

Day 3 - Embark Azamara Journey in Montreal

Montréal is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to bohemian Plateau.

Day 4 - Quebec City, Canada

Québec City sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The Petit Champlain district’s cobblestone streets are lined with bistros and boutiques.

Day 5 - At Sea

Day 6 - Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada

Day 7 - Halifax

Day 8 - St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada

Day 9 - Portland, Maine, USA

Day 10 - Boston, USA / Cape Cod Canal, United States

Boston is the capital and most populous city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States and the 21st most populous city in the United States. The city proper covers 48.4 square miles with an estimated population of 692,600 in 2019, also making it the most populous city in New England.

Day 11 - Newport, Rhode Island

Day 12 - New York

The Big Apple needs little by way of introduction. Its reputation as a capital of culture is universally known, with a plethora of outstanding museums, from the Metropolitan and its incredible wealth of fine art, to Ellis Island and the Tenement Museum, sharing stories of the huddled masses who risked all to be part of the dream that was America.

Day 13 - At Sea

Day 14 - Baltimore

Day 15 - At Sea

Day 16 - Charleston, SC, USA

One of the South’s loveliest and best preserved cities, Charleston is an 18th century town, its skyline low rise and defined by the steeples of 181 churches. Historic buildings have been restored and repurposed for residential and commercial use, and a most enjoyable stroll can be had past the many lovely private homes. The old South lives on in the area’s plantations, including the classic columned mansion of Boone Hall, the model for Gone With The Wind’s Tara. History buffs will want to head to Fort Sumter, where the first shot of the Civil War was fired by Confederate forces.

Day 17 - At Sea

Miami, disembark & fly Miami to UK / Arrive UK

Propelled by Latin rhythms, with a bold style all its own, Miami is a spicy melting pot of cultures. Immerse yourself in the colorful Art Deco district, vibrant nightlife, and beaches for sun-worshipers and water sport enthusiasts alike. Put some money on the horses at Hialeah Park, one of racings oldest and most prominent tracks, right next to a lake full of pink flamingos. Go adventuring in the Everglades, looking for ‘gators and manatees, canoeing through mangrove tunnels, or paddling a sea kayak through the “10,000 islands”. Flashy and full of life, it’s a great place to play.

Kerri was so lovely & friendly & helpful in booking my holiday to South Africa & Mauritius. It’s a great website with so many destinations & good that solo prices can be found, but a shame that they are always so much more!
