Are bar prices expensive on a cruise ship?
The bar prices on cruise ships vary from ship to ship depending on the individual cruise line.
Bar prices on board a cruise ship can be broadly similar to those on the UK high street depending on what you choose to drink, however some drinks can be much more expensive than others.
Prices onboard are generally in US Dollars or British Pounds depending on the individual cruise line.
Drinks may also vary between restaurants and entertainment areas and will be added on to your room bill to pay at the end of your cruise.
Some bars may have special offers and happy hours so have a look out for these on board.
Gratuities will also be added on to your drinks bill, this cost will also depend on the individual cruise line and will be issued to the bar person who served you.
Many cruise lines offer All-Inclusive cruise drinks packages allowing you to pre-pay for a set daily fee to include all of your onboard refreshments and alcoholic drinks.
