Although at first glance the upfront costs may seem high for a cruise holiday, the fact that most of your spending is done at this point means that you can budget for any additional spending well in advance of your holiday.

The standard onboard dining options can also range from regional cuisine restaurants, to all-day buffets packed with traditional favourites, ensuring there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. Most ships do have speciality restaurants available for a small additional fee but these are optional extras and down to your own personal choice.
The range of available onboard activities also means that it should never be an issue to keep the family entertained. Plenty of ships are designed for younger cruisers with waterparks, kids clubs, and even the latest video games rooms to keep them entertained.
The latest Broadway shows, Cinema Screens and live comedy shows are just some of the other exciting entertainment options on a cruise. Many ships even have special themed events such as Murder mystery, Music or Dancing shows giving you the chance to meet the stars up close!
In short, cruising offers fantastic value for money as it caters for every budget allowing you the option to choose as little or as much as you wish to spend.
