I've been lucky enough to visit some incredible places over the years, but Southeast Asia and Vietnam always stand out. Yes, you'll see beautiful temples, impressive landscapes and places that look exactly like the photos you've seen online – sometimes even better. What surprised me most, though, was how welcoming people were. Some of the best parts of the trip weren't the big attractions at all. They were the unexpected conversations, the chance to learn how people live, and those little moments that you never really plan for. When people ask me about this journey afterwards, I rarely talk about the hotels or even the sights first. I usually end up talking about the people I met along the way. That's what made it memorable for me.

Unbelievable countries and cultures from Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Never would I believe that I would be eating scorpions, bamboo worms, grasshoppers and fried crickets for lunch in the local markets... before having Michelin star standard food on board the ship that evening. The people of Asia are super friendly and helpful – we felt safe and welcomed wherever we were! The highlight was visiting fantastic places ranging from the Gardens by the Bay in Singapore to the beautiful beaches in Koh Samui and the outstanding Halong Bay in Vietnam, to the horse racing in Hong Kong!
