As you sail into the port area there are magnificent views of a small group of islands, home to many rare seabird populations, dotted in the waters.

On a fine day you can ride the cable car to the summit of massive, flat-topped Table Mountain, with majestic Cape Town at your feet and the Cape of Good Hope in the distance.
