Don't miss the enticing shops of pedestrianised Karl Johansgate and Bogstadveien, medieval Arkershus Castle, the eye-popping Vigeland Sculpture Park and Bygdoy Peninsula's Kon Tiki and Viking Ship Museums.

Day 4 - Aarhus

Arrive: Tue 14 September 2027 / Depart: Tue 14 September 2027

In the past years, there has been no end to the international praise of Aarhus. Denmark’s second largest city has been recognized as a must visit destination by several powerhouse publications such as Vogue, Lonely Planet, CNN, National Geographic and Momondo. In Aarhus you are met by a vibrant, easy-going and dynamic atmosphere. Home to just over 350,000 people and with a vibrant student population, Aarhus may be old at heart, but it is definitely young in spirit. Within walking distance, you will find world-class attractions and museums, an innovative and diverse gastronomic scene, charming shopping districts and with a location right by the sea, beaches and woods, nature is truly at your doorstep. The fascinating mix of world-class museums, small art galleries, music festivals and events for everyone makes Aarhus the perfect place to get your cultural fix. The city’s museums are no less than world-class, and whether you are into innovative portraying of past times at Moesgaard Museum, the 70’s nostalgia in The Old Town Museum, high-speed rides and concerts in Tivoli Friheden or a visit to the iconic Your rainbow panorama at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Aarhus caters to every taste. With its big events, internationally acclaimed festivals and great performances, there is always something going on in Aarhus. In the narrow, cobbled stoned streets of the historical Latin Quarter you will find a cosy ‘hygge’ atmosphere, and the mix of boutique shops, designer stores and artware shops gives the perfect and most charming setting for shopping.

Day 5 - Malmo

Arrive: Wed 15 September 2027 / Depart: Wed 15 September 2027

Exploring the pretty streets and districts of Malmö, it’s easy to understand why people from some 150 different nations choose to live in Sweden’s most cosmopolitan and multicultural metropolis. Rapidly developing while still retaining its old world charm, Malmö is a delight of contemporary attractions blended in with classically-Scandinavian historic districts, including the fine castle and showpiece squares of Stortorget and Lilla Torget in the heart of Gamla Staden (Old Town). Nowhere showcases Malmö’s development better than Västra Hamnen – the West Harbour. Also known as the City of Tomorrow, this former industrial district is now a stylish, carbon-neutral neighbourhood packed with luxury apartments and office blocks, trendy cafés, bars and restaurants and pretty parks. It’s all overlooked by the soaring Turning Torso, Scandinavia’s tallest building. From the harbour, the world’s longest cable-tied road and rail bridge, Öresund Bridge, directly links Malmö to Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital. It's not difficult to realise why Malmö is so popular with visitors – Middle Eastern markets, Italian coffee culture, sublime international dining and cool bars sit comfortably with the usual Nordic charm, while the line-up of classical and contemporary music, arts and theatre is unparalleled.

Day 6 - Gdansk, Poland

Day 7 - Klaipeda, Lithuania

Arrive: Fri 17 September 2027 / Depart: Fri 17 September 2027

Klaip?da is a port city in Lithuania, where the Baltic Sea meets the Dan? River. The old town features German-style, 18th-century wood-framed buildings. Theater Square, the city’s main gathering spot, is home to the neoclassical Drama Theater.

Day 8 - Ventspils

Arrive: Sat 18 September 2027 / Depart: Sat 18 September 2027

Day 9 - Tallinn, Estonia

Arrive: Sun 19 September 2027 / Depart: Sun 19 September 2027

Tallinn, Estonia’s capital on the Baltic Sea, is unquestionably one of Europe's most magical capitals. This ancient Hanseatic city is justifiably proud of its beautiful churches, solid limestone houses and well-preserved cobbled streets. Toompea Hill, with its medieval houses and alleyways, is the oldest part, and at its foot substantial remains of the city wall can still be seen, surrounded by well-maintained parks. The medieval town hall is one of the best preserved in northern Europe, and the weathercock, Gamle Toomas, is an enduring symbol of Tallinn. The astonishing, ornate, 19th century Alexander Nevskij Cathedral was built when Estonia was part of Tsarist Russia. Kadriorg’s Castle was built by an earlier Tsar, Peter the Great, and now houses part of the Estonian Museum of Art. The “Peek into the Kitchen” tower has an exhibition of Tallinn’s military history.

Day 10 - Helsinki, Finland

Arrive: Mon 20 September 2027 / Depart: Mon 20 September 2027

Finland's capital since 1812, built on a peninsula amid a cluster of islands, stately Helsinki is The Daughter of the Baltic. This striking seaside port is surrounded by uplifting natural landscapes that are easily accessible from each area of the city. The opportunities to get out and about includes boating around the archipelago islands, hiking Helsinki’s forests or strolling its beaches, smart parks and gardens. The port also boasts a UNESCO-listed sea fortress just a short distance from the shore, which is worth the short ferry journey to explore its historic walls and gates. Senate Square, one of Finland’s most photographed places, is home to fine examples of neoclassical architecture, including unique designs from renowned architect, Carl Ludvig Engel. Other architectural delights include the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art, the imposing concert hall, Musiikkitalo, and the Temppeliaukio, an astonishing rock-carved church. Helsinki's stunning train station built in 1919, also demands discovery. Finnish cuisine can be found across the city, from the historic kauppahalli (covered market) to popular, creative bistros. Locally-sourced reindeer, elk, bear, Arctic char and snow grouse, often find their way onto the menu.

Day 11 - At Sea

Day 12 - Kiel, Germany

Arrive: Wed 22 September 2027 / Depart: Wed 22 September 2027

The city of Kiel is characterised by the sea, with it reaching into the heart of the city. With a constantly expanding harbour, Kiel is home to the international oceanic research, and offers world-class water sports. There is a certain urban charm and sense of fun.
