Lithuania's third largest city, Klaipeda has been in and out of the hands of the Russians, Swedes and Germans. Marvel at the impressive, and verbosely christened, St. Mergel?s Marijos Taikos Karalien?s Church tower and walk through Anika Square. Head to the pristine Baltic waters lapping at the broad sands of Smiltyn? Beach. Or duck into the Clock Museum or Castle Museum.

Day 6 - Gdynia

Stroll the beautiful waterfront of Gdynia before heading to nearby Gdansk, the largest city in northern Poland. Kiel is a port city on Germany’s Baltic Sea coast. In the old town, the rebuilt, medieval St. Nikolai Church hosts classical concerts. Holstenstrasse and Dänische Strasse are streets lined with shops. Along the Kiel Fjord, the Maritime Museum displays model ships and nautical instruments in a former fish auction hall.
