I’ve been involved in the travel industry for over 25 years, working both on board cruise ships and, more recently, as a Cruise Expert from home. To me, there’s just something truly special about cruising. Being a cruise expert lets me combine my passion for travel with my love of helping others. I feel incredibly lucky to have cruised around the world, discovering new places, cultures, and unforgettable moments along the way.
The Bahamas truly stands out as one of the best destinations I’ve visited. With its turquoise waters, beautiful beaches, crystal-clear seas, and endless sunshine, it’s easily one of the most stunning places in the world.
Alaska is also very special to me. Experiencing the towering blue walls of ice and having a front-row seat to humpback whales, brown bears, and so much more was unforgettable.

I have experienced a whole variety of cruise lines, and each one offers something different from the rest, which is what makes cruising so exciting.
I love Azamara for its country club feel on board, the on-deck check-in, and the overall ambience throughout the ship. If you enjoy longer stays in port and evening excursions, Azamara is the perfect choice, not to mention the exceptional service.
Holland America Line is another favourite of mine, offering premium cruising with quiet luxury and elegant decor – ideal if you prefer comfort over crowds. They place a strong focus on itineraries, give you plenty of time in port, and offer some of the best live music at sea.
